Founded in Barcelona in 1983 by chef Mey Hofmann, the group was born out of a simple yet powerful conviction: that gastronomy, when practised with rigour, creativity and passion, has the power to transform people. Four decades on, that spirit remains at the heart of everything we do.
Today, Hofmann is an internationally renowned gastronomic universe: a school where the chefs and pastry chefs who will lead the sector are trained; a Michelin-starred restaurant since 2004 where cuisine is reinterpreted with technique and sensitivity; and a network of patisseries of the highest quality and excellence, where the product takes centre stage. A legacy built on excellence that finds its sweetest expression in our patisseries.
The Hofmann Gastronomic Space at Galería Canalejas is where craftsmanship, excellence and creativity take shape in every creation. Here, the tradition of patisserie engages with a contemporary vision of sweet treats: lovingly crafted filled croissants, signature chocolates, savoury bites and seasonal creations—dishes that combine haute cuisine techniques with the pleasure of everyday life. All under the same hallmark of rigour and passion that has defined Hofmann since its inception.
Today, under the direction of Silvia Hofmann, the venture arrives in Madrid with the same high standards as ever and an eye on the future.
