Starting June 2 , Galería Canalejas presents a very special showcase: WAU, a ceramic collection exclusively created by artist Marina Anaya. This limited edition of 250 one-of-a-kind pieces blends art, emotion, and a tribute to the natural world. Curated as part of the LOVING CRAFT project, the exhibition highlights contemporary craftsmanship in a luxurious setting.

AN ODE TO NATURE AND OUR LIFE COMPANIONS

WAU is much more than a ceramic collection. It is an artistic dialogue between porcelain, color, and animals as symbols of sensitivity and a connection to what truly matters. As Marina Anaya explains, “the forests, the trees, the insects, and especially dogs — those loyal and loving companions — inspire the entire collection and remind us that life in harmony with other forms of nature is kinder.”

SPANISH CRAFTSMANSHIP IN THE HEART OF MADRID'S LUXURY DISTRICT

WAU is the first exhibition within LOVING CRAFT, the Galería Canalejas initiative aimed at giving visibility to creators who honor traditional artisanal processes. It’s a tribute to slow creation, the value of handmade work, and Spanish artistic identity.

In Marina’s words: “In a world racing ahead with technological vertigo, true luxury lies in reclaiming slow processes and the materials gifted to us by the earth. Galería Canalejas, by embracing this vision within a luxury space, offers a unique platform for creators like me. I’m deeply grateful to be the one to inaugurate this path.”
