In the 90s, the Pasha de Cartier perfume bottle became a true emblem thanks to its design and distinctive codes. Today, 30 years later, it resurfaces with a renewed and more sophisticated air inspired by a more ecological and sustainable approach that minimises environmental impact.
The bottle is the culmination of a process that began in 2021 with the Rivières de Cartier line, intended to encompass all the emblematic perfumes of the brand.
Everything about it is focused on reducing the planet’s carbon footprint including a reduction in the use of plastic by 65%, a reduction in the use of glass by 20% and a lid which is made of 80% recyclable aluminium. In addition, the natural aspect also plays a key role, since the alcohol contained in its formula is 100% plant-based and does not include any type of colouring.
In terms of design, the new bottle emphasises elegance, staying true to the original through the godrons, its cylindrical shape and the cabochon. However, the Pasha Cartier in both the men’s and women’s fragrance arrives with a renewed air thanks to the dynamism of its lines and a strengthening of the bond with the icon of watchmaking.
What is Pasha de Cartier?
Pasha de Cartier is a perfume for men and women that was launched by the Maison in 1992 and became a true symbol of the time. A sophisticated woody-based fragrance created by Jacques Cavallier.
Its name originates from the inspiration of the legendary Pasha watch, designed in the 80s. A perfume that was bold enough to explore the numerous aromatic and mineral facets of mint, lavender, anise, caraway, mandarin, coriander, Brazilian rosewood, patchouli, sandalwood, labdanum and oak moss.
What is the scent of Pasha Cartier like?
The new Pasha de Cartier Edition Noire perfume goes further and is intensified, both from the point of view of design and in its aromatic notes. Mathile Laurent, a perfumer at Cartier, has infused the firm’s signature fern with a bold combination of spicy burned sugars and charcoal to make it a truly addictive, warm and sensual fragrance.
A radical fragrance whose depth is expressed in a bottle dressed in black that can be refilled. A classic that is reinvented for the audacious generation of today with some modern touches.
