FOUR DELICIOUS WAYS TO COOL OFF WITH AMORINO THIS SUMMER

August, 9, 2022

There is a famous Spanish song from the late 1980s that tells us “there’s no beach in Madrid”. However, what the city does have are these four flavours of artisanal ice-cream from Amorino, and they are just as refreshing.

Galería Canalejas is adding an ice-cream trail to its list of options this summer, a journey to explore the most summery of flavours from the Italian gelateria at the Galería Canalejas Food Hall.

Throughout August, Amorino is offering some special flavours for its Ice-cream Rose that will only be available this month. The first is Vanilla (Bourbon from Madagascar), a unique variety of vanilla that is difficult to find elsewhere.

Pure cocoa is the perfect accompaniment to the sweet taste of milk in Amorino Chocolate, one of those ice-creams that both young and old will enjoy. Salted Butter Caramel is another guaranteed success, with a recipe that combines soft caramel and salty Guérande butter. Fans of pistachio nuts are in luck because the taste of Pistachio (Mawardi Sublime) offers an intense flavour but one that is also easy on the palate.

But Amorino is more than just ice-cream. They also know how to prepare the very best sorbets to cool down on any day in August. Try the Lime & Basil, a sorbet with the fruity and acidic taste of South American lime with a hint of Mediterranean basil. Have you ever tried these two ingredients together?

Their other sorbets include Organic Mandarin and Barbados Cherry, with the floral aroma of Acerola mandarins, and a creamy and sweet mango sorbet made from the Alphonso mango variety originally from India.
