A Tribute to Lobster at St. James Restaurant

The St. James restaurant, the restaurant specialising in rice dishes in our Food Hall, presents its Lobster Days, a culinary celebration dedicated to this delicious seafood, a jewel of gastronomy par excellence.

With more than 50 years of history, St. James is a gastronomic reference in Madrid. Synonymous with excellence for its excellent paellas and more than 30 varieties of rice dishes whose menu combines know-how with the quality of the raw materials.

A UNIQUE GASTRONOMIC OCCASION

Over the next few weeks, the restaurant will be offering its diners a special menu in tribute to the lobster, a highly valued ingredient present in Spanish gastronomy, especially in coastal areas. Its tender meat and delicate flavour, which combines sweet and salty notes, make it a highly versatile ingredient and the star of great traditional and modern recipes.

The menu has been carefully devised by its chefs to offer the maximum splendour of this prized seafood and enhance all its flavour. Among the proposals that make up these gastronomic days are starters and main courses, all with lobster as the main ingredient.

We start with such appetising dishes as the Blue lobster in salad with citrus vinaigrette, a very fresh combination of flavours and textures, perfect to start a meal. We continue with the grilled lobster cooked to perfection, highlighting the purest flavour of the product, or the Fried eggs with garlic lobster with potato slices and truffle oil, a dish that mixes traditional flavours with a special touch. And, of course, the star dish of the house could not be missed: the exquisite Paella with blue lobster, which adapts to all tastes with its dry or broth versions.

The excellent quality of the product and the care in the preparation of each of the proposals, reflect the passion and dedication that has defined St. James for five decades. This new proposal not only expands its menu, but also offers diners a unique opportunity to enjoy this culinary delicacy in the most welcoming atmosphere.
